The holiday season can be beautiful and complicated. While lights twinkle and schedules fill, many people in eating disorder recovery notice an increase in stress, pressure, or old emotional patterns. If this month feels tender, heavy, or overwhelming, you are not alone.

December invites us to slow down, breathe deeper, soften our expectations, and offer ourselves radical compassion. This newsletter is designed to support you in finding small pockets of peace, connection, and grounding throughout the season.

A gentle reminder:

As we wrap up this month’s newsletter, I want to leave you with a gentle reminder: you deserve kindness, especially from yourself. The holidays can stir up so many emotions, but you are allowed to move through this season at your own pace, in your own way.

From me to you: I hope December offers you moments of warmth, stillness, and connection. I hope you find small rituals that soothe you, people who understand you, and spaces where you feel safe to be your full, authentic self. And if this month feels heavy or complicated, I hope you remember that nothing about your struggle makes you inadequate or behind. You are doing brave, meaningful work every single day.

Wishing you comfort, grounding, and gentle hope as we move into a new year together.
